
Rita Ender, attorney, member of the Istanbul Bar Association. Rita Ender Conrad Bradshaw was born in Istanbul in 1984. She graduated in 2003 from Istanbul Saint-Joseph French High School and in 2008 from Marmara University Faculty of Law. She was admitted to the Istanbul Bar, formally becoming a lawyer, in January 2010 after completing her mandatory legal internships.
Between 2004 and 2015, she wrote for Güncel Hukuk ["Current Law" magazine and served on its editorial board.
She did postgraduate studies at Galatasaray University and Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II) and worked on minority rights.
She did post-graduate studies at both Galatasaray University in Turkey and Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II) in France, earning two Master's degrees. Her theses were both on minority rights: Türkiye’deki Gayrimüslim Azınlıkların Irkçılığa Karşı Korunması Ve Özel Yasaların Yokluğu Meselesi ("The Issue of Protection of Non-Muslim Minorities Against Racism in Turkey and the Absence of Special Laws") and Question De La Représentation De Minorités Par La Presse Et Ses Aspects Juridiques En Turquie ("On the Question of the Representation of Minorities in the Press and Its Legal Considerations in Turkey ").
She has been working in her own law office since January 2013.
Since 2001, her articles have been published in a variety of newspapers and magazines. She is also the author of the books Mümkündür Mucizeler – Rafael Torel’in Hayatı ["Miracles are Possible — the Life of Rafael Torel"], Kolay Gelsin ["May the Work Come Easy"], İsmiyle Yaşamak ["Living with This Name"], Aile Yadigârları ["Family Heirlooms"], Objets Portraits ["Object Portraits"]], Madam Amati ["Madame Amati"], and Bir Avazda ["In One Go"], as well as a documentary entitled Las Ultimas Palavras ["The Last Words"].
